Academics

Students in the Black Studies program will develop a strong foundation in liberal arts, hone effective communication skills (both written and spoken), and acquire analytical and methodological expertise. This groundwork equips students for advanced studies, as well as positioning them as meaningful contributors to a variety of initiatives in the public and private, for-profit, and non-profit sectors.
